Hidden Place . U shoud find out.
nice ramen around the area
The only restaurant in the whole street with such a keep growing long queue at 10pm night. Wait for 15 mins in the cold street night, but the taste is just so brilliant and itβs definitely worth for queuing for this delicious ramen. Very unique and great taste that you canβt find even in Hong Kong this ramen heaven.
MoreGreat ramenπ!! Super nice service with big smileπ!
Broth is salty and pork is fatty. Decent ramen.
Love it. Thumbs up. The serving is big. But please check the opening time before you go.
MoreVery recommend
Great little place! The Ramen is delicious and staff is very welcoming! Lots of garlic in it, just how I like it!
MoreGreat tonkotsu broth, amazing amount of melt in your mouth chasiu (1000Β₯ a bowl), ice cold yebisu beer on draft served in frozen glass! Very traditional ramenya counter popular with locals. English menu available and friendly owner.
MoreBest ramen in Kumamoto !!!
Yummy
Garlic flavored pork soup - quite delicious though a bit salty and monotonous. Worth a try if the queue is not long!
MoreA small ramen restaurant, just 12 seat! Ramen not bad!
The ramen here is really good.more clear based soup compared to the ones in Fukuoka and prices are pretty reasonable with good service. You can choose spicy soup if you donβt like clear soup. I ordered the clear soup base and in my opinion compared to Keika ramen, this is definitely betterπ
Moregood ramen. The staff have a really great attitude and are always smiling. Really worth a try
MoreSeriously the BEST ramen in town.
Good ramen
I've been living in Japan for over 3 years and eaten a lot of Ramen in that time - but I think I might have eaten the best bowl ever at Tengaiten. I got the spicy (medium - they don't overdo it on the heat so this wasn't too hot) ramen with extra spring onions. It's garlicky, spicy, rich and delicious. Pork is also really well cooked, super tender. 5* from me!
MoreLove it so so much!
excellent
Walked past Tengaiten Ramen when I'm on the way to Kumamon Square. Decided to give it a try. Delicious ramen. They have english menu as well.
MoreWe had to walk in the rain for a while, but it was all worth it! The broth was super delicious and the meat is just melting in your mouth. Its a small place, very simple but it serves a delicious Ramen π
MoreThe soup is delicious ,the meat is fantastic and the ramen is well made!
twas amazing
Easily one of the best char siew ramen ever! If you are around this area, definitely a must try. It's first come first serve with only 12 seatings at a time. Wasn't very hungry but still finished every drop of broth.. ;)
MoreBest kumamoto style ramen in town
Just normal noodles with not cheap price.
One of the most famous local ramen shop, very rich soup and tender ramen, pork lover should try the heavy weight Char Shiu Ramen. Queue would be long bit worth the wait we arrived at 12 midnight in the rain and there is still a queue outside. Still a fantastic ramen place to visit
MoreBest ramen in the region - their specialty is the garlic on top. Order the char siew one and you get 8 amazing chewy meat on top of your noodles. Come early at 6pm to avoid any wait. English menu is available.
MoreGarlic garlic garlic! So nice
Awesome Ramen !!! Must try spicy ramen.
I wonder if the taste of the store has fallen or my taste has changed? I thought.I couldn't really tell what the soup was because it was so strong. The noodles are crunchy and the scent is completely swallowed. The customer service was better than before, but I feel that it was better when my old Ganko father was making it
MoreDecent ramen, a small shop with friendly staff and chefs. Nice experience
The best pork base ramen. Anywhere.
Fried pork noodle toppingThe flavor of garlic penetrated into the tonkotsu base, and when I sipped the soup, the tonkotsu and the soup spread all at once in my mouth and I thought it was delicious in an instant. The pork pork was also good for ramen soup and I could eat it without feeling tired. As for the finish, the taste is so addictive that you can even drink soup. You can't feel the mar oil with Kumamoto ramen, but it's simple and delicious
MoreRamen tasted heartful and delicious and will revisit for sure!
My style of ramen. Thin straight, perfectly cooked, perfect charsiew with perfect combo of fat n meat, perfectly cooked egg. They also steam their bowls in hot water so they noodle stay warm longer (this is one thing you learnt if you have ever really in the food service industry). Warning: msg loaded. But I still love πππ
MoreWe heard from a local that if you enjoy ramen this is the place to try! Decided to give it a go, I have to say this is currently the best ramen I have had to date! The broth is amazingly good, the meat is good, and the noodles is made just right.Service and pricing is good too, just a pity I can't have this more often!
MoreLocated very near Tsuruya shopping mall. Small little ramen joint opens at 6pm to 2am. Visited during winter so there is not much of a queue. Staff is very friendly, and service is very prompt. Order the regular char siew noodles(1000 Yen) and its seasoned with good amount of garlic powder. The broth is definitely very thick and tasty. If you want something more exciting, try the Spicy ramen(3 heat levels). The space is cramp but it serves up a very cosy atmosphere for you to enjoy dinner.
MoreI really like the boys running that little ramen place in Kumamoto. The place is always crowded so be prepared to have a little waiting time. The menu is short but what they serve is some of the best stuff you can get in Kumamoto.
MoreFamous garlic ramen! Delicious!
Very local Kumamoto styled ramen - characterised by fried garlic sprinkles on thick tonkutsu soup. Generous amount of Charsiu and I love the fresh garlic soaked in soysauce toppings (but abit on salty side).
MoreLovely and heartwarming garlic pork broth ramen! βΊοΈ English menu for the gaijin
MoreA really small but cozy ramen store with very friendly staff. The broth is very garlic heavy, and the bowl comes with a very generous portion of thick cut, fatty meat. This place is not like other bowls you will get at, say, Ichiran or Ippundo.
MoreGrilled pork ramen is really tasty and it's reasonable price.
very nice ramen
Excellent ramen, with generous servings of char siew. Very local experience, we loved it.Highly recommended, one of the best ramen I had in Japan
MoreWow, when I first got my bowl of ramen I could already smell the garlicky aroma. Such a rich yummy soup with perfectly cooked thin straight noodles. One of the best bowls of ramen I've ever had!
MoreGreat local ramen restaurant, it's about a 5 minute walk from the Shimotori shopping Arcade and consistently full. We only waited for about 10 minutes around 9 pm at night so great for post shopping dinner. The menu only has 3 ramens, regular (with a bed of garlic), spicy, and chashu (comes with 8 pieces of chashu), the soup itself is the same for all three. The noodles are thin with a very rich and flavorful soup. Personally I liked the regular flavor but if you're hungry order the chashu one 300 yen for the extra pork belly, you won't be disappointed. The normal and spicy ramen are 750 yen each while the chashu one is 1050. Toppings like eggs cost extra (150 yen) but I think that's reasonable, or you can save the cash and opt for extra noodles instead which almost ever patron did. I went the extra mile and ordered 1 spicy and 1 chashu ramen (worth it)
